About the site

This website describes the restaurant consulting services of Data & Dough Co. LLC ("we", "us"). The content is general information. It is not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice for your specific situation.

The plate math calculator

The calculator and example ticket are estimates for illustration. They leave out costs like card fees, labor and rent. Check real decisions against your own invoices, POS reports and app statements.

Free walkthrough

Our first walkthrough is free. There is no cost and no obligation to hire us, and we will never bill you for it.

Paid services and pricing

We only start paid work after you approve a written proposal or agreement. It lists the scope, the full price and how and when you pay. If anything on this website conflicts with your signed agreement, the agreement wins.

No hidden fees. You'll see the full price before you agree. We don't add fees that aren't in your written agreement. Costs that go to other companies, such as ad spend, delivery app commissions, software subscriptions or printing, are listed in your proposal and paid directly by you unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Cancelling

How you can cancel is set out in your agreement and in our Refund Policy. We don't use automatic renewals you weren't told about.

Our content

The text, logo, design and code of this site belong to Data & Dough Co. LLC. Some photos are used under the Unsplash License. Who owns the work we create for you is set out in your agreement.

Using the site

Please don't misuse the site, for example by sending spam through the form, trying to break its security or copying it to pass off as your own.

No guarantees

We work hard on every engagement, but we can't promise specific sales or profit results, because they depend on many things outside our control. The site is provided "as is".

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using this website. Our responsibility for paid work is set out in your agreement.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of the Dallas–Fort Worth area of Texas.
